Marit Geraldine Bostad
À travers ses séries de peintures, Marit Geraldine Bostad explore les thèmes centraux dans sa recherche artistique, le psychisme, la mémoire et les interactions humaines. Elle verse les couleurs directement sur la toile, de manière rapide et instinctive, afin de créer différents effets, volatils ou puissants. Elle reprend la tradition des couleurs nordiques, faite de pastels tons sur tons, en y apportant sa modernité par des éclats de touches vives et fluorescentes. Chaque toile est le reflet de son état intérieur, mais aussi des archétypes de ressentis, librement interprétables par le public.
Biographie
Marit Geraldine Bostad est née en 1976 à Oslo, en Norvège. Elle est diplômée d'un Bachelor en Direction Artistique de l'université Westerdals Commercial School of Arts ainsi que d'un diplôme en psychologie de l'université d'Oslo.
